Born and raised in the mountains of Salt Lake City, I’ve always been a curious explorer on the hunt for new experiences — new hobbies, new tools, new foods, new books, and new languages.
In high school, I discovered frontend web development, and from there I followed the natural progression of my curiosity, into visual design, user experience, strategy and research, and more recently, design systems. Over the past decade, I’ve had experience working on web and mobile apps, marketing collateral, brand identities, and design systems for businesses of all sizes.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, writing, working on my comic strip, Homerun, hiking in the desert, and searching for the best tacos in Phoenix.

Cedar’s mission is to make healthcare more affordable and accessible through our consumer-friendly platform that’s powered by data science, smart product design, and personalization. I managed the design system for Cedar's patient-facing billing products, Cedar Pay and Cedar Pre, which involved building and documenting new components and patterns and patterns, as well as collaborating with designers on a source-of-truth spec library for the Cedar Pay patient billing product. Before that, I led discovery and product design on Cedar's payer integration team, which was in charge of developing a suite of features that leverage health insurance data and programs to enhance the provider billing experience.

OODA Health is a healthcare fintech company on a mission to transform healthcare administration by enabling collaborative, real-time interactions between providers, payers, and members. OODA Health was acquired by Cedar in 2021. I led product design on the OODAPay patient billing product, focusing on developing the billing experience across web, email, and mailed collateral. Additionally, I assisted with the implementation of the design system in React and made several frontend contributions to the OODA Pay web app. Beyond product design, I also co-led a company rebrand, rebuilt the new corporate website, and created a variety of marketing collateral including commercial one-pagers, custom branded envelopes, and client onboarding guides.

RentPath Inc. is a parent company to Rent.com, ApartmentGuide.com, Lovely, and Rentals.com, which combined see 16 million visitors each month. I spent a month as a contract designer helping the web design team at AG redesign their web app to be mobile-responsive.

Lovely is a rental search marketplace on a mission to make the process of renting in competitive cities simple and transparent. Lovely’s marketplace enables renters to search, apply and pay directly from their computer or mobile device, while giving property owners the tools to manage their units and find the most qualified tenants. I led design on the Lovely iOS and Android apps over the course of two years, and oversaw the migration to iOS 7 and Material Design across both platforms. During that time, I was responsible for ensuring feature parity with Lovely's web marketplace and crafting the visual identity of the apps, with included style guides and custom icon sets. I was also the principal designer on the Lovely web marketplace for renters and landlords. Projects included renter search, renter applications, Lovely Pro for landlords, and a Lovely x Lyft collaboration.
